Online Therapy Services

We offer Telehealth services. Telehealth services include phone and/or video sessions. From the comfort of your home, you can engage in a confidential therapy session. You can expect the same level of support as you would receive as though you and your Therapist were in the same room.

Many of us were reluctant to transition to virtual services. Over time, individuals have not only developed a preference for online availability, but now request to remain on long term Telehealth services for convenience and ease.

Online therapy allows for flexibility, accessibility, and accommodations for varying schedule needs and health concerns. In order to expand access to services, we have extended hours to better serve individuals who may be in need of added support.

Ask A Therapist Today.

I offer a complimentary, 20 minute phone consultation for all prospective clients. The phone consultation is a chance for you to discuss your needs, share your goals, learn about the therapeutic relationship process, ask questions, and to explore whether we are the right fit. To schedule a free phone consultation, please contact me today.

What is A Hamsa?

The Hamsa is a protective symbol that has been used by many cultures throughout history. It brings its owner happiness, health, and fulfillment. With the fingers pointing to the sky, it is a powerful sign of protection and shields us from our inner emotions of internalized blame, guilt, and shame. When the fingers point down, it opens us up to receive goodness from the universe.

Frequently Asked Questions

what do you want to know about therapy?

No. Fortunately, we do not accept insurance. (No limitations on your treatment!).
Investing in your mental health is the first step to take towards creating healthier and more fulfilling changes in your life.

We believe in a long term approach and provide depth psychotherapy which often requires long term journeys. (Reminder that therapeutic services are entirely voluntary). Insurers limit the number and time frame of the actual session. Most health insurance providers require an initial diagnosis in order to cover your Therapy and some diagnoses will not be covered at all. We do not believe in diagnosing after only one intake hour. Part of our philosophy is to build a relationship with our patients in order to specifically tailor their treatment based on individual needs. Insurance carriers also require your diagnosis to be disclosed when pursuing new treatment. This is in direct conflict with our philosophy of treating patients.

Good Faith Estimate:
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to create a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges. Note: The PHSA and the GFE does not apply currently to any clients who are using insurance benefits, including Out of Network Benefits (seeking reimbursement from your insurance companies).

The No Surprises Act

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. This is just an estimate and as your therapist gathers more information about your symptoms and severity, your Good Faith Estimate may be revised to reflect this new information. Any time your Good Faith Estimate is revised it will be updated and stored in your client portal. You have the right to request an updated Good Faith Estimate at any time in your treatment.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. Your Good Faith Estimates will always be kept up to date and accessible for you to download in your client portal.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Disclaimer:
This Good Faith Estimate shows the costs of items and services that are reasonably expected for your health care needs for an item or service. Estimates are based on information known at the time the estimate is created. The Good Faith Estimate does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. Federal law allows you to dispute (appeal) the bill. If you are billed for more than this Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill. You may contact the health care provider or facility listed to let them know the billed charges are higher than the Good Faith Estimate. You can ask them to update the bill to match the Good Faith Estimate, ask to negotiate the bill, or ask if there is financial assistance available. You may also start a dispute resolution process with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). If you choose to use the dispute resolution process, you must start the dispute process within 120 calendar days (about 4 months) of the date on the original bill. There is a $25 fee to use the dispute process. If the agency reviewing your dispute agrees with you, you will have to pay the price on this Good Faith Estimate. If the agency disagrees with you and agrees with the health care provider or facility, you will have to pay the higher amount. To learn more and get a form to start the process, go to www.cms.gov/nosurprises. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate or the dispute process, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises

Payment is offered on a sliding scale. We offer 50, 60, 75, and 90 minute sessions. Sliding Scale range: $200.00 to $225.00 dependent upon clinical needs and requests.

We do not accept Insurance, instead we are able to provide you with a Clinical Superbill to submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement purposes. Superbills indicate that you pay for Therapy out of pocket and seek possible reimbursement through your insurance company. It is your responsibility to determine whether you have Out-of-Network benefits on your insurance plan. You would be responsible for sending in the superbill along with a medical claim form to your insurance company for reimbursement. We are unable to discuss policies related to insurance. Most insurance providers can confirm whether you have out-of-network benefits.
